It was nearly two years ago when M & C first asked me about carrying sibling for Adam (now 4 years old). After some consideration, some negotiation, some waiting for the right time and some unforeseen delays, we finally transferred a beautiful 5 day embryo in early October 2017.
Everything went perfectly, the embryo was hatching at the time of transfer and was placed in just the perfect spot. I felt calm and relaxed and SO positive leaving the reproductive endocrinologist's office that day. We were fortunate enough to be successful on the first try (something we will never take for granted!), just a few days later an early pregnancy test revealed...
And a few weeks after that, an ultrasound showed one sweet little baby with a heart beating strong!
Just before Christmas, it was revealed that Adam would be having a baby SISTER! Then, in April, we caught a glimpse of her little smile in 4D.
We are now 34+ weeks pregnant, anticipating baby sister's arrival in late June or early July!
